— Together with local actors and inhabitants, we aim to revive the former museum in the still vibrant oasis village of Icht in the Moroccan Sahara. The typical Pre-Saharan setllement distinguishes itself by its remarkable cultural and natural heritage, featuring an old underground village with winding alleyways, an earthen mosque, a cultivated green palm oasis, an ancient Sufi lodge, natural caves, as well as nearby Neolithic rock engravings and traditional communal granaries. —
